Your home is not advertising inventory.

What Kellexa stores, who can see it, how we use it, and how to take it with you or delete it.

No ads

No ad trackers, third-party ad cookies, or ad targeting.

Scoped to your home

Only members you invite can see a home, within the permissions you set.

Never sold

We use records to run and improve Kellexa — we don’t sell them or hand them to others for marketing.

Yours to take or delete

Export anytime. Deletions can be undone for 30 days, then they’re permanent.

01What we store

We store only what Kellexa needs to work:

  • Account: your email and/or phone number, display name, and confirmation that you are at least 13.
  • Home records: assets, warranties, people, payouts, service accounts, tasks, documents and attachments, and notes you add.
  • Membership: invites and the per-module permissions (See or See + Edit) set by the home’s owner.
  • Helpers: requests, chats, and reviews you create when using Helpers. For partners, the profile, service area, and ID documents they submit for verification.

02Who can see it

Every request is authenticated and scoped to a home. Permissions for all seven modules are enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the app. A member with access to tasks cannot see payouts or private notes unless the owner grants it. Private notes are visible only to the person who wrote them.

When you use Helpers, partners see the request details you send them. Households see a partner’s approximate distance, never their exact location.

Share links. You can share one item’s service details with a technician or buyer through a link. It shows only what you tick (the serial number is off unless you choose it), never your home, address, people or notes. Links expire on their own, can be turned off at any time, and we only store a scrambled form of them.

Activity. Members can see who changed what in a home (for example, who added or archived an item) for 90 days, within their own permissions.

03AI features

Some features use AI models run by outside providers. Only the text needed for the task is sent, providers process it to return an answer, and we don’t keep that text afterwards.

  • Voice: what you say to Kellexa’s voice assistant (or Alexa) may be sent as text to turn it into a draft you confirm. Questions about your things are answered from your own records without AI.
  • Scanning invoices and labels: off until you agree. When on, the text read from a scan (never the photo itself) is sent with emails and phone numbers removed. You can turn it off in Notifications at any time; Kellexa’s basic reader then works on its own.

AI suggestions are drafts. Nothing becomes a household record until you confirm it, and we check the AI’s answer against the scanned text so it can’t invent details.

04How we use household records

Kellexa has no ads, so your home isn’t advertising inventory. We use the records you store — including assets, warranties, and care details — inside Kellexa to understand how homes use the product, improve it, and grow it responsibly.

Over time, that may help us offer better options in the app when something may need replacing, servicing, or cover such as insurance. Those would be Kellexa features, not a sale of your household file.

We do not sell this data. We do not give advertisers, insurers, marketplaces, or other third parties access to your home records for their own marketing or resale.

05Diagnostics and analytics

We log essential operational data — crash reports, uptime, and error rates — to keep the service reliable. Optional product analytics (for example, which screens are opened) are opt-in and stripped of identifying household details. We never run ad-network beacons or covert trackers.

06Export, deletion, and retention

You can export your home whenever you like. You choose what to include and the format (JSON or CSV); we ask for a one-time code first, and you only get the parts of a home you’re allowed to see. Photos and files open and download one by one from the app. You can also print an inventory of your things for insurance or a move.

When you delete a home, item, or your account, it enters a 30-day grace period so mistakes can be undone (restoring also needs a one-time code). After 30 days it is permanently deleted.

07Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers under data-processing agreements:

  • Hosting and storage: cloud infrastructure for our servers, database, and files.
  • Sign-in messages: email and SMS gateways that deliver one-time codes.
  • Error reporting: Sentry, for crash diagnostics with personal details removed.
  • AI models: model providers reached through OpenRouter and NVIDIA, for the AI features above.

08Age

Kellexa is for people 13 and older. We don’t knowingly create accounts for anyone younger.
