FAQ

Frequently asked.

Getting started

What is Kellexa?
A household OS. It remembers your appliances, people, bills, and pay; schedules care with quiet reminders; and lets you share one home with the people who live there.
Is it free?
Yes. Your first home is free with every feature: up to 10 members, 15 reminder pings per item, and 500 MB of files. Each extra home is ₹999 a year; unpaid extra homes stay readable but locked.
What’s the minimum age?
You need to be 13 or older to create an account.
How do I sign in?
With Google, or a one-time code sent to your email. There’s no password to remember or leak.

Appliances and warranties

Can Kellexa read my invoice?
Yes. Scan it with the phone app or upload a PDF invoice on the web. Kellexa suggests each item, price and warranty; nothing is saved until you check it. Reading with AI is optional and off until you agree.
How do I share details with a technician or buyer?
Open the item and tap Share a link. Pick what to show and how long the link works. Your home, address and other items are never shown, and you can turn the link off any time.
I sold something. Should I delete it?
Use “No longer have it” instead. The record, invoice and history stay for your files, and its reminders stop. Delete removes everything.
Can I get a list of everything for insurance?
Yes. Memory › Things › Inventory report gives a printable list by room with prices, warranties and the proof you’ve saved. Print it or save it as a PDF.

Reminders

When do reminders arrive?
At the time you pick, or 10 am by default, in the home’s timezone (you can switch to your own). Nothing interrupts you during your quiet hours or while your phone is on Do Not Disturb.
What if I ignore a reminder?
Kellexa pings up to 15 times, then stops. The item stays open in the app until you mark it done, snooze, reschedule, or skip it.

Sharing

Can I join someone else’s home on Free?
Yes. Free limits how many homes you own, not how many you can join.
Who can change permissions?
Only the home’s owner. Members get See or See + Edit on each of the seven modules.
Are private notes really private?
Yes. Private notes are visible only to you, whatever your permissions. Shared notes are visible to the household.

Your data

How do I export my data?
From Settings, choose what to export and the format (JSON or CSV). We ask for a one-time code first. Photos and files open and download one by one from the app.
What happens when I delete something?
It can be restored for 30 days (restoring needs a one-time code). After that it’s permanently deleted.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. See our privacy policy for exactly how household records are used.
